Happy Halloween!

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers. The mandatory evacuation has been lifted for all of Suzanne's family members, including her mother and stepfather Shirley and Barry, who happen to have been visiting us and watching the San Diego news anxiously. The danger hasn't completely passed, and there are still friends we're waiting to hear about.

Keep up the good thoughts. There will be a lot of work to do as folks start over. We'll try to post ways to help here as we find out about them.

San Diego fires

Some of you may know that Suzanne grew up in Northern San Diego County, which is getting ravaged by fires right now. Many of Suzanne's family members have been forced to evacuate and are watching the news closely to see if their homes are safe. Most of them know somebody who has lost a home by this point. The fire is very close to Del Mar Heights, where Suzanne's mother lives.

While the homes might be in danger, everyone is safe and accounted for. We'll make sure to post any news about friends and family here.
